Decker Bus started in 2007 with Anthea Head at the helm. Moving into our
Whittlesey premises in 2008 we started with the aim to offer quality and a difference.
Our first step was to not have one standard colour of the fleet so we decided we’d
have different coloured coaches in different sizes and we’d offer different vehicles for
hire. So here we are...we offer small coaches, large coaches, disabled coaches, half
open buses, full open top buses and we love them all. We’ve worked hard to achieve
what we have to date and are proud to be a small, hard working team with a priority
to please our passengers and give them a comfortable, safe journey wherever they
go. We take pride in our fleet and though the vehicles may not be brand new with
all singing, all dancing bells and whistles they are reliable, safe and comfortable with
bright colours of the rainbow to take you down the tarmac road.
From our baby 18 seat coach to the 49s and 70s you can hire any of them and enjoy
a day out. Not forgetting our disabled coach which has wheelchair access so no-one
gets left out.
On one side to Decker Bus is the garage operating under A H Commercials. Managed
by Tony Head the garage undertake 3rd party servicing for other coaches, buses and
lorries as well as a 24 hour recovery and break down service.
However Tony's forte is refurbishing (as well as buying and selling) coaches. His
favourite work is to get a vehicle and give it a total refurbish from just a quick lick of
paint to installing / upgrading new seating as well as a major project such as the bus
conversion that went to Syria as a mobile classroom (pictures on separate pages).
His personal project is his Ayat Bravo that he’s refurbishing in his own time which he
plans to use for anything from touring bands to hiking in the hills and stag parties to
Amsterdam!
Another project he’s due to start soon (and is very excited about) is a conversion of a
bus to a mobile cocktail party bus…watch this space in months to come we hope.
On the other side of Decker Bus is Day Trips 4 U, that offer a brochure every
year full of day trips out on a coach – with the odd weekend trip thrown in for

Whilst all this goes on our continuous goal is to ever improve and keep our buses
and coaches out on the road taking you all to the places you want to go in a safe,
comfortable as well as happy and harmonious environment. We look forward to
